Pat was my first boss at UH when I joined Creative Arts, known as Art and Design at the time. Those who worked under her will remember her thorough training and the belief that if you'd been trained by Pat, you'd been trained by the best. She went on to become a dear friend to many of us who had worked with her and was brilliant at keeping in touch. She was troubled by many health issues but loved life and filled her days with as much as she could fit in, never complaining about what she couldn't do. It's hard to believe that we've lost her, a friend to so many.
